Happy Easter everybody!

Happy Easter! This is the first chance to get onto the internet I've had all day, so it's a little late, but it's still technically Easter here, so...

How was everyone's Easter? Mine ended as far too many of my holidays end: with someone in the hospital. (My grandpa this time. He fell and hit his head on the sliding glass door. He had a really nasty bump.) He's doing a lot better though, and last I heard, he was going to be home tonight. I couldn't go with him to the hospital since I had to leave for college right after, but I've talked to my mom, who went with him, a few times on the phone. Hopefully no one else had such an eventful day.

I live by myself, miles away from most of my relatives, so I don't usually celebrate Easter.

Blargh, spelling and grammar mistakes everywhere in my last post. Must fix! That's what I get for trying to type a coherent post after all of that...

This was actually one of the more mild events considering some of the past ones. I'm mostly angry because my dad made the comment that it was so nice that we'd never had to go to the hospital on Easter, so of course something had to happen 30 minutes after he said that. So now we've had bad things happen on just about every major holiday.

Well, at least you're spared the drama? Though even with all of that, I do still like to visit my family. Just not during holidays. It's like we're cursed or something.

Well, my Easter was pretty good. Except for family pictures. Oh, how I loathe family pictures. I got the biggest bowl of corn EVER from a local restaurant accidentally.

Ah yes, the dreaded family pictures. We had to take some of those as well. On the plus side, someone gave ME the camera, so I managed to torment my cousin with it while we were setting up. I even got a picture of her face instead of her hand once (I'm so sneaky!). Of course, then she attacked me and my parents took the camera away before she threw it out the window, but it was worth it.

Yes...I got to take a few, but I was in most of them...now to find out where my little brother put my copy of HeartGold.

So, has anyone else seen that the names for the next gen games have been released?

Black and White.

I guess that they're returning to their 1st gen roots and naming them after colors? That or they've run out of ideas....

Anyway, now that the names of the games have been released, do people want a 5th gen forum up?

People might, but shouldn't we wait for more information before having a forums about it? The names are proof pokemon is racist.

Perhaps. The reason that I asked was because I've noticed that a lot of forums added the section after the names were released (though some still haven't), and I wanted to know if people wanted one here as well.

Not that it matters. I'm almost certain that the names will change for the US release, given the connotations.

Speculation? I'm not sure what else there could be...once the games are out, we could do more with it.

The one that I was looking at didn't have many topics (granted, it was quite new), but it had ones such as "Evolutions you want to see next gen", "New Features you want to see next gen","Reaction to the names", "Black, White, or both?" (in regards to which game you're getting), and of course the update/news/scans thread. And looking back at it today, it's gotten bigger (there's even some discussion on whether the game names imply a new type: Light).

There's plenty to talk about now, especially if you don't group it all into one huge thread, but it's still up to you guys. There's no point in me making it if no one wants to post in it.

I'd probably post in it, just for the sake of activity. Ugh. New types are hard to get used to. What would qualify as a light type anyway that couldn't fit somewhere else?

Who knows? Honestly, the only reasons that I've seen for it so far are because we already have a Dark type, and now because of the "Black and White MUST mean that it's a good vs evil/light vs dark" thing. I don't see a point for "Light" being a new type myself.

I'll probably end up making the 5th gen section sometime in the next few days, but finals start next week, so we'll see how busy I get.

I told my friend about Pokemon Black and White, and she was like, "that kinda sounds racist..." Other friends just didn't believe me. Oh well.

On the other hand, I still have a bet with this guy in the 8th grade(I'm in 7th...). We are going to have an epic 6 on 6 battle...winner gets $5 I'm so gonna win. His Pearl team against my Platinum team.

And poor JK...he broke his toe...but, he got a cute haircut over the weekend...

Those reactions sound about right. At least half of the people I told either didn't believe me at first or made a similar comment.

Ouch, broken toes are the worst. You can't do anything except wait for them to heal on their own, and ignore the pain--at least that's what I had to do.

English class is really funny. My teacher was teaching us why we don't emphasize certain syllables. So, her example went like this, by accident:

I'm almost done with finals and thus, my first year of college. I've got an Anthropology exam tomorrow morning, then I'm free.

Moving out will be interesting, though. I'm going to have to drag all of my stuff down three flights of stairs...

It was a fun class, I'm actually considering making it a minor, but I'll have to look at requirements.

Moving happens tomorrow. I'll probably spend a few hours tonight packing so that moving out goes quickly.

On that note: I'm done! It's such a wonderful feeling.

Yeah, I think everyone has been rather busy. Glad to see that you're back.

Oh dear. Third semester ends tomorrow. Hm, I just need to get a perfect A in English and Math for the 4th semester so my final average is straight A's.

Worse, the 8th graders are currently taking a science MSA, so my lunch time is now at 8th grade lunch time(about 1:20). Under normal circumstances this would make most kids including me suffer. I skip breakfast a lot.

Ouch. That's a late lunch. I went to a small school, and we didn't really have different times for lunch, so I ate at around 11:45 with the rest of the school.

I often skip breakfast as well. It really depends on what I have to eat and when I get up. But my latest class ends (or rather, ended, since it's over, now) at 12:20, so it's not too bad.

I'm bored, anyone want some wondermail? I feel like doing requests.
