The Separation-

"Sam!"
"Cody!"

They shouted as the storm drew them away.Cody retched out and grabbed her scruff.
Sam yelped.The storm was strong.
Cody's hand slipped and Sam flew into the ocean.
Cody shielded his eyes and the Lucario floated to shore.

Miki meets Cody-

Cody lay on the ground weak.A small Vulpix walked over.She nosed him."Hey!Wake up!"she barked.
Cody opened his eyes weakly."W-who are you?W-where's Sam?"he asked sitting up.He winced and fell back down again.
"I don't know who Sam is but I'm Miki."the Vulpix said.
"H-hello Miki.I'm Cody."
Miki looked at him."Hmmmm.Cool!"she barked.

Sam panics-

Sam came to in a cave.She sat up quickly but fell down in pain.A shiny Feraligatr came in."Don't move.You were knocked out on the rocks.You were bleeding so I brought you her.I'm Alter.Who are you?"he asked
"Sam."she said.
"Nice to meet you."
Sam looked around.She turned to Alter."Where's Cody?"she asked.
"Who's Cody?"
"My best friend.Lucario."
"Haven't seen a Lucario here in a while."
Sam panicked."I've never been away from him!"she barked.
Alter went over."Whoa.Calm down.We'll find him."
Sam nodded.She wasn't convinced but she wanted to get her friend back.

Miki tells Cody on how an Explorer Pokemon works-

Cody sat in Miki's little cave as she ran to the back and got something.She dragged it back out into the bigger area of the cave."Here we go!"she yelped happily.
Cody looked at it.It was a small blanket with many things on it.A bag full of berries,escape orbs,and any other useful things.
Miki over looked her stash proudly."This are things we can use in a dungeon."she explained,turning to him.
Cody looked up at her,a confused expression on his fac."Dungeon?Why?"he asked.
Miki gasped in pure shock."YOU'VE NEVER BEEN EXPLORING?!?!?!?!!?!?"she shrieked.
"NO!!!!!!!!!!AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO YELL!!!!!I'm right here..."
"Sorry.....But you've NEVER been exploring???"
"No......"
Miki ran up to him and sat at his feet/paw/things."Okay well,exploring is really fun!You go into these things called Dungeons and search for TREASURE!!There's mission's that the Guild over there does,where you go in and look for an item or defeat an outlaw.You have a partner that comes with you and helps keep you safe as you look around."he explained.
Cody listened with interest.
Miki continued....
