Hi. im new. I have NO idea what this place is/ is like. I'm not the best speller so my text will probly have spelling errors. (especailly after a month of txting lke ths) please try and figure out what i ment to say. so...yea im new to this site and hope to make some friends. (and find out what all the links and buttons do)
also <------- the protesting loler. he is protesting all non-loling. so um... yea im new I go by savol456, savol, or that one guy who's name you can't remember but it's not that important and you will remeber it later. and HI! What do you mean by favorites? Do you mean topics? If so, there should be a "Watch this topic for replies" button right under the last post on each page.

no. but that is a nice button. I go to my profile and at the end I see "favorites" except its misspelled i think and says 0 favorites. and I went to a thread and checked it and didn't find a add to favs button or anything. hmmm.... a useless button. I'll remeber that for something oneday...

"Favourites" is a valid spelling. It's how the British spell it. I'll have to look into what it does, though. That's a default setting so I'll have to play around with things to figure out why it's there if it's not to keep track of topics. For all I know, it doesn't have any purpose at the moment...

At the top right of a given thread, there should be a button titled "Actions" that you can click that lets you add a given thread to your favorites (kinda like watching, but for long-term archiving more than keeping yourself posted on updates). For some reason this isn't showing up on some people's browsers.

Let me know if you can or can't see that function; it might give me an idea of why it isn't showing up for certain people (*cough* Schala *cough*).

EDIT: Apparently having NoScript running blocks that particular button. Setting it to allow this site's scripts should fix it; if not, I'll look into other solutions. Of course, it isn't a terrible loss to not have that function, so if you're uncomfortable disabling NoScript for any reason it's not the end of the world.
